Kitchen design

After spending several days shopping around at various stores, I've decided to work with Cabinets To Go. The reasons are as follow:

1. The designer was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

2. Their wait time is only 1-2 weeks, unlike everywhere else where you have to wait 5 weeks or more.

3. Although not as cheap as IKEA, but not as expensive as a custom build, I found their product and price to be reasonable. This after obtaining quotes from 6 different places.

4. I got a lovely 35% discount, which I was informed is their standard discount for businesses.

The designer helped me put together this lovely design of a kitchen, as can be seen in the above photo that was generated from their software. I can't wait to get it all in place and see it done. The ordering process was seamless, and since I knew what I wanted and had everything ready it took only 1 hour to get it all finalized. We'll see how well the delivery and assembly process go in 2 weeks.

I decided to place drawers as all the base cabinets, since regular base cabinets create so much wasted space for the user. The drawers are nice and deep so you can put pots, pans, dishware, tupperware, etc. in them without a hassle. A nice spice rack to the left of the stove was the perfect size for what I needed, and a built in trashcan gives an extra sense of luxury. To the right of the refrigerator I placed a nice big 24" pantry for all the foods, along with wall units for food.
