Where did the time go...

I can't believe it has been 10 days since my last post! I'll be totally honest with yall flipping a house is a lot of work, and there is something going on almost every single day.
This week the crew was out there working hard every day. All of the framing went up, so now you can actually start to see things take shape. The electrician came in and did all the rough for the outlets, switches and light fixtures. I'm putting in recessed lighting, it's going to look so cool. And then the plumbers were also busy moving things around and getting the rough done.
This coming week the drywall will be going in, with the painting, light fixtures and floor. By the end of this week it will start to come together again. That meant this past week I was out shopping every day, getting quotes and putting bids together to make some decisions.
Here are some things I decided this week:
1. I will ONLY work with people who are professional and don't treat me like a child. I refuse to waste my time working with incompetent people.
2. I will not tolerate sales people lying to me, to coerce me into buying their product, by giving me their sales tactic lines. I'm smarter than that.
3. I need to go with my gut instinct, more often than not its the right thing to do.
What led to this realization is a sales person wasting 2 hours of my time, because he was trying to sell me but didn't even know how to operate the companies computer system. Towards the end I said... "I have to leave in 5 minutes. That's how much time you've got to get this done." He still didn't finish, so I got up and left. After that, I went to the Tile Shop, because the staff there has been phenomenal, and they helped me get everything done I needed to do in 20 minutes.
Anyways, the tile has been picked, here's a close up below. I instantly fell in love with the chevron pattern as it picks up all the colors that I'm using in the house. I can't wait to see it go up. What do yall think?
Can't believe we're halfway through this project. In the next two weeks things should really start coming together. Will keep you posted.
Cheers
Linda
